At PJW Restaurant Group, we firmly believe in giving back to the communities we serve each and every day.
Whether we are sponsoring the local little league team as they fight their way to the championship or painting our restaurants green with shamrock donations to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Ronald McDonald house, we are dedicated to raising the bar for others.
PJW Founder Bob Platzer Honored as Trailblazer, Philanthropist by Virtua Foundation
Since 2011, PJW Restaurant Group has been involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities in the Philadelphia region, which provides temporary lodging, transportation, meals, and social services for families traveling to the area for pediatric care. Every year, during the months of February and March, staff members unite to raise money for the "Change the Luck of a Child" Telethon and restaurant walls quickly become filled with shamrocks and pots of gold to represent the generous donations received. To date, the PJ Whelihan's and Pour House locations have raised over $700,000 for RMHC Philadelphia!
The Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation is dedicated to providing programs and activities for teenage children and young adults battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Whether they are writing notes and poems in a journal from their Teen Kit or painting a masterpiece from Alicia’s ArtCart, teens are kept busy as they wait for the cure all thanks to the foundation. PJWRG is proud to sponsor the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation gala and support various events throughout the year.
St. Cecilia Little Angels is near and dear to Bob Platzer, Chairman and Founder of PJWRG as he and his six siblings attended the school growing up. When Bob initially received a letter asking for support to rebuild the playground on-site, he knew he wanted to step in and help. 9 months later a brand new playground was built which will support children in the area for years to come. The playground is also dedicated to Kay Platzer, Bob’s mother, who was a tireless volunteer for Saint Cecilia's.

Drink. Dine. Donate.
We love when our customers enjoy a meal and cold beverage in one of our locations, but we love it EVEN MORE when we can give back while they do so! Through our DINE & DONATE program, we invite local organizations to host an event and PJW Restaurant Group will donate 15% of all the sales generated by attendees.
